Willie le Roux got his first taste of senior provincial rugby for the Regent Boland Cavaliers, but he moved to GWK Griquas in Kimberley at the end of the 2011 season. He is a strong and elusive runner with ball in hand and a prolific try-scorer, as well as an excellent goal kicker. He has been one of the Toyota Cheetahs' stars this season and can play fullback, wing or even flyhalf.
