Kelly Brown was named Scottish players’ player of the season in April 2007 after enjoying a run of games at openside flanker during the RBS 6 Nations. Brown was a regular in the Scotland squad during the World Cup, appearing off the bench in four games, and starting against New Zealand. Brown has represented Scotland at every age-group level. His senior debut was in Scotland’s first ever win over the Barbarians, and his first cap came against Romania in 2005. Moved to Glasgow after the Borders folded.
