A former Springbok Sevens star, Gio Aplon made his Test debut against Wales in Cardiff in June 2010 and played in the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand in 2011. He has been in scintillating form for the Stormers and Western Province the last few seasons. Gio is an electrifying runner who punches above his weight, not shy getting stuck in and has been known to make some brilliant tackles on players almost twice his size.
