Frans Steyn, one of the most versatile players ever to don the Bok jersey, returned to South Africa in 2012 after three years of playing club rugby in France. He has played Test rugby at flyhalf, centre (inside and outside), wing and fullback and was one of the key players in the Boks’ last two Rugby World Cup campaigns. He reached his 50th Bok Test cap against Argentina during the Castle Rugby Championship in 2012, but missed the November tour to Ireland, Scotland and England because of injury.
