Ashley Johnson, who captained the Emerging Boks in 2008, made his Springbok Test debut in 2011, after he played twice for the Boks in the midweek games on the end of year tour in 2009. He put up his hand following a number of barnstorming Vodacom Super Rugby performances for the Cheetahs, but has since left South Africa to play club rugby in England. Ashley is very fast for a big man and scored a number of great tries in his career.
