|JON PETRIE (Dundee High School FP and Glasgow Rugby) Back-row forward. Born 19.10.76 in Dundee. 6ft 4in, 17st 2lbs. Jonathan Michael Petrie made his most recent start for Scotland in the 2002 Scottish Mutual Autumn Test victory against Fiji and was introduced as a substitute to the RBS Six Nations games against France and Wales. This year he has also played in the A internationals against Ireland, England and Italy. He played in three games on Scotland's 2002 trip to North America before he had to leave the tour through the concussion he sustained in the Test against Canada. He scored his first try for Scotland in the 31-8 November 2000 win against Samoa. Earlier in the year he won his first cap for Scotland in the second Test on the tour of New Zealand. In all, he played in five games on that tour, scoring a try in the 25-25 draw with Nelson Bays. The tour was reward for his first season in professional rugby with Glasgow Caledonians (now Glasgow Rugby). Earlier, he had two seasons in Scotland's under-21 team, making his debut against the Irish in 1997 while he was playing in France with Colomiers. He returned to Dundee High School FP later that year, and he enlisted with Glasgow Caledonians in season 1999/2000, though he had already made emergency appearances for the professional team in 1998-99. His Scotland A debut was in the 99-0 win over the Netherlands at Murrayfield in December 1999 and he has now played six times at A level.
