PLAYER WRITE-UP
A giant of South African rugby - literally and figuratively - Os du Randt is the only Springbok who has two Rugby World Cup winners medals in his collection. As a youngster, he was part of the 1995 squad of Francois Pienaar, and in 2007 he was one of the veterans that helped John Smit's team lift the Webb Ellis Cup in France. When he retired, Os was the most capped Springbok prop ever, having amassed 80 Tests during a career that spanned 14 years. Had injuries not forced him to retire from the game for a few seasons at the turn of the century before he made a comeback to the Boks in 2004, he would've played many more Tests for South Africa.
