Wayne Peel made his senior Wales debut as a replacement in the second Test against Japan in Tokyo in the summer and won his fourth cap as a replacement in Dublin.
He has come through the Wales system, winning caps at Under 16, 18 and 19 levels and twice representing Wales Under 21. He has yet to play for Wales A.
He started playing rugby as an eight-year-old with the Tumble mini-rugby team and joined Llanelli as a youth player. He is now in his third season with the Stradey Park club.
A keen golfer, he is going into his third year at Swansea University where he is studying for a BA in geography.
He intends to become a full time professional rugby player after gaining his degree.
