Craig Stephen Morgan made his Wales debut in the opening 2002 Lloyds TSB Six Nations Championship match against Ireland in Dublin. The Hawthorn School product has fought his way back from injuries to belatedly win his first cap. In 1999, he played full back for Wales Under 21 in five matches and he was selected for Wales A against South Africa and a Wales XV against New Zealand in 2000. He missed out on his first cap on the Wales tour of Japan in the summer of 2001, forced to fly home early with a knee injury. A fractured ankle forced him to miss the opening three months of the 2001/2002 season. Made his Cardiff debut as an 18-year-old in August, 1977. He has scored 61 tries in 89 full appearances for the club and at one stage scored tries in 17 consecutive games. International record: 3 caps (W 1,L2; 5pts - 1T) 2002: Ireland,France,Italy
