Wales RWC squad 2007
2007 - Wales squad vs South Africa
James Peter Robinson made his first full start for Wales against Australia in 2001 after missing out with a hamstring injury against Ireland.
He scored a try on his debut, as a replacement in the first Test against Japan in Osaka, and a superb solo effort as a replacement against Tonga.
He made his debut for Cardiff on his 19th birthday, against Sale in 2000, and topped the appearances in the 2000/2001 season with 30 out of a possible 33.
A product of the renowned rugby nursery at Ysgol Gyfan Glantaf, Cardiff, he won Under 21 and Wales A honours in the 200/2001 season. He was in the same Wales Under 19 side as clubmate Rhys Williams, helping Wales reach the final of the Welsh-based 1999 FIRA World Junior Cup tournament.
He toured Canada with the Wales Development squad in 2000.
He has played cricket for Glamorgan Under 19s and is in his final year of a BSc degree in sports equipment design at the University of Glamorgan.
