PLAYER WRITE-UP
Playing Position: Inside Centre/Flyhalf
Club: Warringah
Super 14 Brumbies 2001-2007
State Debut: 2003 v Sharks Super 12 Debut: 2001 v Hurricanes (Waratahs) Honours: Waratahs Vodacom Super 12 2002 Australia U/21 World Cup 2003 A brilliant back, Mark Gerrard makes the switch to fullback following the departure of Joe Roff. One of the biggest and most powerful outside backs in the Super12 at 102 kg, Gerrard is also one of the competition's fastest and finest finishers. He scored a team-high 10 tries in 2004 and was unlucky to miss out on his Test debut twice trough injury. Gerrard should thrive in the open spaces at fullback - he's a great attacking weapon and definitely one to watch in 2005.
