One of the biggest and most powerful outside backs in the Super12 at 102 kg, Gerrard is also one of the competition's fastest and finest finishers. He scored a team-high 10 tries in 2004 and was unlucky to miss out on his Test debut twice trough injury. Gerrard should thrive in the open spaces at fullback - he's a great attacking weapon and definitely one to watch in 2005.
