PLAYER WRITE-UP
From sitting on the bench for the Falcons' Vodacom Cup team last season, it has been a meteoric rise for this talented young hooker. His impressive performances in last year’s Currie Cup saw him selected in the SA under-23 squad that won the African Cup final against Morocco in Casablanca in 2001. Often forced to play second fiddle to James Dalton at his province, Badenhorst will be out to grab any chance he is given to cement his spot in the Bulls playing 22. He was also a member of the SA under-21 team that won the SANZAR tournament in Argentina in 1999.
