| Chris Anthony, who joined Newport from Swansea in the summer of 2001, made his first four appearances for Wales as a replacement but was a starter in five of his last seven internationals, including both Tests against Japan.
Scored a try against Tonga on his then home ground at St Helens in 1997 before suffering a broken leg against Neath.
He has played for Welsh Schools and Wales Youth, won four Wales Under 21 caps and made five appearances for Wales A.
He scored a try against South Africa in Wales' 30-25 quarter-final defeat in the 1996 Students World Cup in Pretoria, and won a Welsh/Scottish League championship medal with Swansea in 2001.
