As one of the most experienced Springboks ever, CJ van der Linde has done it all at Test level. The versatile prop, who can play on both sides of the front row, was part of the Rugby World Cup winning team in 2007. He is naturally strong, but also deceptively quick and skilful for a big man. Van der Linde, who also had a stint playing for Leinster in Ireland, first represented South Africa in 2002 and has played under four Springbok coaches. Had it not been for injuries, he probably would’ve played many more Tests, Vodacom Super Rugby and Absa Currie Cup matches.
