A robust hooker who was never shy to get stuck in, Gary Botha played most of his senior rugby in the same era as John Smit, which is probably why he's only played in 12 Tests for the Boks. He has won numerous trophies with the Bulls and the Blue Bulls during his time in Pretoria. At the end of the 2011 season, he moved to France to play for Toulouse, his second stint overseas after he also played for Harlequins in England.
