The first choice Springbok fullback during 2008, Conrad Jantjes struggled with numerous injuries towards the end of his career, most notably a very serious leg fracture while playing for the Stormers. Jantjes was one of the best attacking and defensive backs in the country over the past seasons and apart from playing for the Springboks, he also represented South Africa in cricket and soccer at junior level.
