Wilhelm Carstens is one of the most promising young scrumhalves in the country. The 25-year-old was selected in the Stormers squad in 2000, but the arrival of Dave von Hoeslin relegated him to the Vodacom Cup competition. He matriculated at Bellville High in 1993 and represented the SA Barbarians at Sevens. “Cassie” as he is also known, loves golf and is also a very talented cricketer.
