PLAYER WRITE-UP
Sporting isolation probably cost Balie Swart a number of Test caps. He only played 16 Tests for the Springboks, but that includes the epic RWC in 1995, which the Boks won on home soil. Swart was the first-choice tighthead prop at the tournament and one of the unsung heroes of the pack. After his playing days, he went into coaching and later became a specialist scrum consultant.
