| Rudolf Straeuli, who is also a qualified lawyer, is one of only a handful of people who have both played and coached at a Rugby World Cup. As player, this robust loose forward was part of the Springbok team that won the RWC at home in 1995, and as coach, he took the Boks to the RWC in Australia in 2003 - his second season in charge of the national team. He was also The Sharks' head coach when they went all the way to the Super Rugby final in 2001.
