PLAYER WRITE-UP
Japie Mulder was one of the unsung heroes of the Springboks' triumphant RWC campaign in 1995, with his superb midfield defence one of the strong points of the team. Apart from his solid tackling, Mulder was also very strong with ball in hand, but elusive enough to find the outside gap when the opportunity was there. He played in 34 Tests and scored six Test tries for the Boks.
