Current Province:Free State Pieters made his provincial debut in 1999 for the Griffons, beginning his unique association with Bulls wing partner Gavin Passens. He moved with Passens to the Pumas in 2000 where their try scoring feats continued and in 2001 followed Passens once more to the Blue Bulls where he was part of the Vodacom Cup winning team that season. With good pace and unpredictability, he is a dangerous attacking wing with his elusive running making him hard to defend against. His rugby ambitions are to enjoy the game and to follow his wing partner one more step and join him in Springbok colours.
