A local Durban product who travelled the world before coming full circle and cracking the big time at his home province. Physically massive for a flyhalf, Van Rensburg plied his trade with limited success at Transvaal, Eastern Province and Free State before playing a season in Ireland and a season at Swansea in Wales.
