One of the hard men of Springbok rugby, Mark Andrews played a vital role when South Africa won the RWC in 1995, moving from his regular position at lock to No 8 in the final. His 77 Tests was a record for a long time and at the end of 2012, he still ranked as the eighth most capped Bok ever. He was a great lineout jumper but played a very physical game as well - almost a mix between the modern day No 4 and 5 locks.
