PLAYER WRITE-UP
A prodigiously talented flyhalf, Gaffie du Toit made his Springbok debut against Ireland in June 1998 before playing Absa Currie Cup or Vodacom Super Rugby. His kicking - out of hand and at goal - was always brilliant, but Du Toit also had a turn of speed and eye for gap, which made him a very dangerous prospect at 10. Injuries held him back during most of his career and in the end he only played in 14 Tests between 1998 and 2006.
