Free State on top at Coca-Cola Grant Khomo Week

Free State are currently in pole position at the annual Coca-Cola Under-16 Grant Khomo Week at the Oakdale High School in Riversdale.

The Bloemfontein side are on top of the log after securing their second victory of the competition on Tuesday after outclassing Eastern Province 55-5.

There were also comprehensive victories for the Valke, who defeated the Border CD team 35-0, while the SWD XV easily saw off Namibia in their 29-0 victory over the tourists.

There were also victories for Western Province, Blue Bulls, Kwazulu-Natal and Border in their respective fixtures with the Pumas and Limpopo playing to an 8-8 draw.

At the end of day two at the Coca-Cola Under-16 Grant Khomo Week, the Free State team are on 10 points followed by SWD (9), Western Province (9) and Griquas (9).

There will be no fixtures on Wednesday with all teams enjoying a day-off with the competition set to resume on Thursday.
