Your Question: Hi Dawie Who are you bringing in to replace Johan Goosen at flyhalf and is Steven Kitshoff still part of the squad? - Gregory

Dawie answers: Hi Gregory, losing Johan Goosen was a big setback for us, but that is part of rugby and something I'm used to. Having said that, we've moved on and are contemplating a few options. Obviously Tony Jantjies is still there and he is a great prospect and a very solid 10, but I also like what I've seen of Handre Pollard from Paarl Gym, and let’s not forget we also have Fred Zeilinga from the Sharks who is also part of our systems. A final call will be made in the next few days.

Your Question: Dawie Theron do you think you stand a chance of winning the World Cup? I hear you have called up Raymond Rhule, such an exceptional player? - Aubrey Dawa

Dawie answers: Hi Aubrey - yes I do and I can assure you that we have been working non-stop to make this tournament a massive success. On Raymond - he is a great player, and is part of our group of short-listed players.

Your Question: Hi Dawie Eerstens sterkte met die WC. Ek wil net hoor hoe die span van 2012 vergelyk met die vorige WC span? Wat is jou sterk punte in die span? Wat is die moontlikheid dat ons die WC kan wen? - Ronald Maarman

Dawie answers: Baie dankie Ronald.

Ronald asks about comparisons between the team this year and in seasons past, strong and weak points and if they can win the JWC. Dawie says they can definitely win, but that it's difficult to compare teams. They've picked a strong squad but losing Goosen is a setback, however, they are looking ahead and will be ready on June 4.

Your Question: Dawie, with only a few weeks left before the tournament kicks off, do you think you and your team are ready for the JWC? Good luck, make us proud! Gerry Nieman

Dawie answers: Thanks Gerry. We are ready, yes. We started our preparations with the players at the end of last year already and have had a number of very successful training camps. Most of the players featured in Varsity Cup, Vodacom Cup and Vodacom Super Rugby this year and we will hit the ground running on June 4.

Your Question: How important do you think it is that guys like Kitshoff, Jordaan and others played Super Rugby and a lot of your other players featured in the Vodacom Cup? Cheers - Andre de Wet

Dawie answers: Andre, to have match fit players as part of your squad, is something no coach will ever turn down. The guys have played well, quite of few of them were part of the recent Springbok Planning Camps and I'm very excited for what lies ahead.
