Kings ring the changes for Durban visit

The Southern Kings will travel to Durban this weekend to face The Sharks with a team showing no less than 12 changes from the starting line-up that lost to the DHL Stormers last Saturday.

Only Marcello Sampson (left wing), Jacques Engelbrecht (No 8) and David Bulbring (lock) retained their places in the starting team from last weekend.

Charl du Plessis, who will start at loosehead prop, was on the bench last weekend. Grant Kemp (prop), Bandise Maku (hooker), Darron Nell (lock), Shaun Venter (scrumhalf) and Michael Killian (wing) all started against the Capetonians and are on the bench this weekend.

Steven Sykes will captain the Kings in their final league match before they start preparing for the two promotion/relegation matches against the MTN Lions.

Southern Kings: Siviwe Soyizwapi, Hadleigh Parkes, Waylon Murray, Shane Gates, Marcello Sampson, George Whitehead, Nicolas Vergallo, Jacques Engelbrecht, Mpho Mbiyozo, Devin Oosthuizen, David Bulbring, Steven Sykes (captain) Kevin Buys, Hannes Franklin, Charl du Plessis. Replacements: Grant Kemp, Bandise Maku, Darron Nell, Thabo Mamojele, Aidon Davis, Shaun Venter, Michael Killian.
