Kings make five changes for Canberra match

The Southern Kings have made several changes to their starting 15 for Friday's Vodacom Super Rugby match in Canberra against the log-leading Brumbies.

Three of the changes are in the backline, where Waylon Murray comes in at outside centre, with Ronnie Cooke moving to the wing. Nicolas Vergallo starts ahead of the injured Shaun Venter at scrumhalf.

Venter is on the bench alongside Marcello Sampson, who is back from injury.

Upftont, Cornell du Preez is back after he missed the Hurricanes game because of injury and will start at No 8, while Rynier Bernardo (lock), Grant Kemp (prop) and Hannes Franklin (hooker) will all start this week.

Replacements: 16 Bandise Maku, 17 Kevin Buys, 18 David Bulbring, 19 Jacques Englebrecht, 20 Shaun Venter, 21 Marcello Sampson, 22 Elric van Vuuren.
