Steenkamp back for Vodacom Bulls
July 11, 2012
Vodacom Bulls lock Wilhelm Steenkamp is back in the starting line-up of the team for their final group match in the Vodacom Super Rugby tournament against the MTN Lions at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.

Steenkamp replaces the injured Flip van der Merwe from the Bulls side that lost to the Sharks in Durban last weekend.

The 27 year old lock has last started for the Bulls in their clash against the Chiefs in Hamilton earlier in the season and will play in his 51st match at this level after stints with The Sharks and Toyota Cheetahs.

His place on the bench will be taken by fit-again opensider Deon Stegmann who has fully recovered from a broken arm suffered earlier in the season.

The Vodacom Bulls team (with Super caps) is: Zane Kirchner (69), Akona Ndungane (82), JJ Engelbrecht (15), Wynand Olivier (101), Bjorn Basson (40), Mornè Steyn (104), Francois Hougaard (43), Pierre Spies (87,c), Dewald Potgieter (52), Jacques Potgieter (11) Juandrè Kruger (15), Wilhelm Steenkamp (50), Werner Kruger (73), Chiliboy Ralepelle (50), Dean Greyling (28). Replacements: Willie Wepener (51), Frik Kirsten (13), Deon Stegmann (58), CJ Stander (15), Jano Vermaak (86), Louis Fouchè (8), Francois Venter (6)
