Sharks coach Plumtree rings the changes

The Sharks coach John Plumtree has made four changes to his starting XV for Saturday's Vodacom Super Rugby match against the Toyota Cheetahs in Durban.

In the backline, the injured JP Pietersen is replaced by Odwa Ndungane on the right wing, while Frans Steyn drops to the bench to make way for former Cheetah Riaan Viljoen.

Upfront, Ryan Kankowski drops out of the match 22 completely, with fit-again Jean Deysel back at flank. Jannie du Plessis will start on the bench, with Wiehahn Herbst getting a start at tighthead prop.

The Sharks team: Riaan Viljoen, Odwa Ndungane, Paul Jordaan, Meyer Bosman, Sean Robinson, Pat Lambie, Cobus Reinach, Keegan Daniel (captain), Jean Deysel, Marcell Coetzee, Franco van der Merwe, Pieter-Steph du Toit, Wiehahn Herbst, Kyle Cooper, Tendai Mtawarira. Replacements: Craig Burden, Jannie du Plessis, Anton Bresler, Lubabalo Mtembu, Charl McLeod, Frans Steyn, Andries Coetzee.
