Bryan Habana, Joe Pietersen, Steven Kitshoff and Rynhardt Elstadt are back for the DHL Stormers team for Saturday’s derby against the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein.
DHL Stormers Head Coach Allister Coetzee is confident that Elstadt, who missed last weekend’s match against the MTN Lions due to suspension can make a difference from the side of the scrum. He replaces Don Armand, who drops to the bench and Tyrone Holmes drops out of the match 22.
Jebb Sinclair returns at No 8 for Siya Kolisi, who moves back to the flank as partner to Elstadt.
Coetzee also decided to retain Deon Fourie after the hooker’s excellent performance in the starting team against the Lions, ahead of Tiaan Liebenberg.
There is one change to the front-row, with Steven Kitshoff returning from SA under-20 duty to reclaim the No 1 jersey he last wore against the Sharks on the last Saturday of May.
The return of Pietersen pushes Gio Aplon back onto the right wing, with Gerhard van den Heever moving to the bench.
Habana’s return is at the expense of the injured Danie Poolman, who was called in as a late replacement for the match against the Lions.
