South African Sevens on winning ways
June 29, 2013
The Springbok Sevens Men and Women teams scored good wins at the Rugby World Cup Sevens tournament on Saturday, but with one more match for each to play, a defeat could mean heartache.

The Men outclassed Japan 31-0 in a pool B clash and now meets Scotland in what will be a pool decider, whilst the Women managed to beat China 19-7 in their second pool B match.

Earlier in the day they lost 12-5 in a tight affair against Ireland.

The Women must now beat Australia in their last match of the day to secure a place in the Cup quarterfinals. That match will be played at Luzhniki Stadium at 16h54.

The men’s team meet Scotland at 17h16 on the same pitch.
