Where to view Super Rugby online
February 21, 2013
SANZAR today wishes to remind fans of their online viewing service that allows fans in countries where there is no television broadcast agreement in place to watch 2013 Super Rugby.

The new service, successfully trialled last year by SANZAR and partner PERFORM group, will be available all throughout the season and will be in place for The Rugby Championship later this year.

The service will allow viewers from many countries, especially in Europe and South America, to watch the action, which SANZAR CEO Greg Peters said was important to be able to not only expand coverage, but further extending rugby’s global footprint.

“We offered this service for the 2012 Super Rugby Final and The Rugby Championship, and are proud to announce that more viewers all around the world can watch the upcoming 2013 Super Rugby competition” Peters said.

“Super Rugby has proven itself to be a competition with an international flavour, and we have found appetite for viewing outside of Australia, New Zealand and South Africa to be strong.”

PERFORM, who will work with SANZAR in delivering this service, has one of the largest sports rights portfolios for over 200 sporting codes, and last year delivered nearly 3 billion video streams, and has a reach of hundreds of million sporting fans.
