Butch is back

The Sharks have made five changes to the team that beat the Blue Bulls for this weekend's Currie Cup match against Western Province on Saturday at Newlands.

The most notable change is the return of former Springbok flyhalf Butch James who will be making his 50th Currie Cup appearance for The Sharks in this match.

In other changes, Danie Mienie (loosehead prop) has been given his second cap for The Sharks after playing off the bench against the Chiefs in Super Rugby earlier this year.

Rayno Gerber comes in at tighthead after playing off the bench in the opening four matches.

Sizo Maseko replaces the injured Odwa Ndungane and finally, Tim Whitehead is back in the side in place of Heimar Williams who has enjoyed a very good run in his debut season at this level.
