SARU sends condolences to family of Vuyo Mbuli
May 19, 2013

SARU president Oregan Hoskins on Sunday sent his condolences to the family and colleagues of popular TV and radio presenter Vuyo Mbuli, who passed away on Saturday while attending a Vodacom Super Rugby match.

The Morning Live anchor was attending the match between the Toyota Cheetahs and Reds in Bloemfontein when he collapsed and succumbed to what is believed to have been a heart attack during the course of the game.

“This is sudden and shocking news and our thoughts are with his family and his colleagues,” said Mr Hoskins. “He was a journalist who saw both sides of the story and was a great South African optimist. In our rugby environment he was a great supporter of the Springboks, which was much appreciated. He will be sadly missed.”
